Tempting Ottoman Tile Work

As I reminisce over my photos from Turkey, I am still stunned by the many wonderful designs incorporated into tiles.  So, to finish up here’s a delicious few to contemplate – enough to send you running for your own design boards & coloured paints....

A Little Eye Candy

Before the next history lesson, a little eye candy to lighten and brighten up my dull life. That means of course that I've not been any where near my fabrics for a while and they are singing like sirens, sweet, irresistible songs. Get on with the garden shed, they are saying, so that we can come out and play!

These are some of the French tiles that I thought would make great quilts. Very Inspiring! Just don't ask me where I took them.... everywhere!

Important buildings, small pagodas, homes and outdoors.

All over the country - north, central and south.

Oh, and there is plenty more.....

The quilts may take a  little longer to eventuate.  Meanwhile enjoy!
